Welcome to the website of Opawa Community Church. We are a member of the Methodist Church of New Zealand Te Haahi Weteriana O Aotearoa.
Our beautiful church on the banks of the Ōpawaho river in Ōtautahi Christchurch has been in existence since 1897. We are a bible believing church which gathers together weekly for worship on Sunday mornings at 10.00 am and continues its fellowship throughout the week with a number of different groups and activities being hosted both at the church and in peoples homes.
